What is Eigin?

Eigin is an online booking platform for beauty professionals (hairdressers, nail techs, brow artists, etc.). Create a professional booking page where clients can book 24/7 without calls or messages.

Who is Eigin for?

Eigin is ideal for independent beauty masters who want to manage bookings, clients, and schedules digitally.

Getting started

How do I sign up?

Visit eigin.io, click Sign Up, enter your email, name, phone, and password. You'll receive a confirmation link — click it to activate your account. Your public booking page goes live instantly.

How do I set up my profile?

After registration, go to Settings. Add your full name, photo, phone, email, bio, and specializations. You can also set booking rules: cancellation time, buffer between appointments, and more.

How do I add services?

In the dashboard, go to Services > Add service. Enter the name, duration (minutes), price, and description. You can organize services into categories and import them from screenshots of other apps.

Client booking

How do clients book with me?

Clients visit your unique booking page (e.g., anna.eigin.io). They choose a service, date and time from available slots, enter their contact details, and confirm. No app download or registration needed.

Can clients cancel or reschedule?

Yes. You set the cancellation window (e.g., 24 hours). Clients can cancel or reschedule via a link in their confirmation email. You can also cancel or reschedule from the calendar.

What is multi-service booking?

Clients can select multiple services at once (e.g., haircut + styling + colouring). The system automatically calculates total duration and price, and adjusts available time slots.

Plans & trial

What are the plans?

Free plan: €0/month for Story Spot residents (bookings during coworking hours only). Pro: €9.99/month (€4.99 for residents). Pro includes full scheduling, services, calendar, and automatic reminders.

Is there a trial period?

New masters get a 14-day Pro trial. One trial per email. After it ends, you can use the free plan (if a Story Spot resident) or subscribe to Pro.

What happens after the trial ends?

If you're a Story Spot resident, you automatically get the free plan. Otherwise, you need a Pro subscription. You can subscribe at any time.

Do you charge a commission on bookings?

No. Zero commission. You keep 100% of your earnings. You only pay the fixed Pro subscription or nothing (free plan for Story Spot residents).

Story Spot

What is Story Spot?

Story Spot is a beauty coworking space in Tallinn. All residents get free access to Eigin's Free plan with coworking hours sync. Full scheduling freedom is available with Pro for €4.99/month.

Features

How do I use the visual calendar?

Pro masters get day and week calendar views. Click and drag to reschedule, resize to change duration. The calendar syncs with your working hours.

Can I manually create appointments?

Yes. Open the Calendar, click on a time slot, and create a walk-in booking. You can assign a client, services, notes, and payment status without online booking.

What is the client database?

Every time someone books or you create an appointment, the client is automatically added to your database. You see full visit history, contacts, visit count, and total spent.

Are automatic reminders sent?

Pro masters get automatic email reminders. Clients receive booking confirmations and reminders (24 hours before by default).

What is the waitlist?

If there are no available slots, clients can join a queue. When a slot opens up, waitlisted clients are notified and can book instantly.

Can I block time?

Yes. In the Calendar, click Block Time for breaks, personal time, or vacation. Set a reason and duration. Blocked time won't be available for client bookings.

Can I import services from screenshots?

Yes! With Pro: Services > Import from screenshot, upload up to 5 photos of your price list from another app. AI recognizes services — choose which ones to import.

Payment & prepayment

How does prepayment work?

You can require a deposit before booking. Options: payment link (Stripe, Montonio, Revolut) or bank transfer. You confirm payments manually.

Can I use my own payment link?

Yes. Go to Settings > Prepayment and add your payment links (Revolut, Stripe, Montonio) and/or bank details. Clients see all options when booking.

What payment methods do you accept for subscriptions?

We use Stripe for Pro subscriptions. You can pay by credit card. Receipts are sent to your email.

Can I cancel my subscription anytime?

Yes. Cancel your Pro subscription in Billing > Manage Subscription. Pro access remains until the end of the paid period. No hidden cancellation fees.

Referral program

What is the referral program?

Invite another master via your referral link (in Billing). When they subscribe to Pro and make their first payment, you both get 1 free month of Pro.

Technical

Is Eigin a mobile app?

Yes, it's a PWA (Progressive Web App). On mobile, you can add it to your home screen and use it like a regular app.

Which browsers are supported?

Eigin works on all modern browsers: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge (desktop and mobile). We recommend the latest browser version.

How does the personal booking page work?

Your public page is at yourname.eigin.io (where yourname is your unique slug). You set it during registration. Share the link on Instagram, email — clients go directly.

Can I export my data?

Yes. In the Clients section, you can export your list as CSV. All your data belongs to you.

Account & security

How do I delete my account?

Go to Settings > Danger Zone > Delete Account. Type DELETE to confirm. All data will be permanently removed.

Is my data protected?

Yes. Eigin is built on Supabase (EU servers) with row-level security. We use HTTPS encryption, secure authentication, and GDPR compliance.

Who can see my booking page?

Your booking page is public — anyone can visit and book. Your dashboard is password-protected.

Can I use Eigin with existing clients?

Yes. You can manually add clients to the database or import from CSV (up to 1,000 at once).

Teams & future

What if I work in a team or salon?

Currently each master needs a separate account. We're developing a Team plan for small studios (2–6 masters) with a shared calendar and unified booking page.

How do I contact support?

Write to hello@eigin.io or use the AI Assistant in Help Center. We respond within 24 hours.
